Yakov Soochkoff Olivarria is a Southern California-born and raised filmmaker.

He currently attends La Sierra University, earning his bachelor's degree in Film and Television Production.

In his first year of film school, Yakov wrote, directed, and produced an award-winning short film titled “Benny Bill”. He is currently in post-production on his next short, “Properly Exposed”.

He has also directed and shot multiple other projects including documentaries, commercials, and promotional videos.

He plans to continue pursuing filmmaking as a full-time career.
